The Misfits weren't so much formed as spawned in the sleepy town of Lodi, New Jersey in early 1977. The original Misfits are back! Last weekend, bassist Jerry Only and vocalist Glenn Danzig performed together for the first time in 33 years at Denver's Riot Fest. According to James Greene Jr.'s "This Music Leaves Stains: The Complete Story of the Misfits," Jerry Only wanted their former drummer Arthur Googy to play the gig, but Glenn Danzig wasn't a fan of the idea and wanted Brian "Damage" Keats instead.
