Availability. The Real Macaw scored a domestic DVD release via Magna Pacific/Icon, not a good sign, and as expected, it was in 4:3, but at least looked open matte and was reasonably sharp in the standard def way.. There was also one extra: a 22'11" TV featurette titled The Making Of The Real Macaw: presented and narrated by the film's young star Jamie Croft, this was more a selling document.
