Hallo zusammen. Ich habe seit 2 Wochen eine Stihl 462 im Einsatz, hauptsächlich im Buchen und teilweise im Eichen bestand. Zwischen 20 bis 90cm ist alles dabei, es wird gefällt und aufgearbeitet, auch die Kronen. Stämme werden auf 4,6 und 8m geschnitten, der Rest auf 2m. Mit der 462 läuft es wie geschmiert. Keine Probleme die macht was sie.

BUT, if you want to run a 28" bar, 462 c-m is a slam dunk. I would definitely not run a 28" bar on a 362. I am thinking of buying a 462 c-m and.

cuinrearview. I ran a 462 last fall and thought it was a nice saw. Very light and great power bucking hard wood with a 28" bar. At this point in it's life cycle I would be hesitant to recommend it even for occasional milling. It would probably perform the task fine, but we don't know yet how it will hold up long term.
