It was early June when we visited Villa del Balbianello. It rained a little in the morning but the rain stopped at about 10.30am. So we had a cool morning, a light crowd and lots of space to wander around. Balbianello is like a quintessential Italian garden. I marvelled at how the landscapers could keep all the trees in such good shapes!
