How to spend the day at ALNWICK CASTLE.
We drove to Alnwick Castle. It's located about 35 miles north of Newcastle. Foolishly I thought I could just put "Alnwick Castle" into Google Maps. That didn't work so well. It's best to use the postcode NE66 1YU, which will take you directly to the parking lot. It's ยฃ3 to park for the whole day, but you will need to pay in cash

The Alnwick castle is spectacular, of course, but there is something magical and quite breathtaking about the wee little towns like Kelso or the coast scenery of Northumberland. 10/10. I would take this tour everyday if I had the chance. But for the meantime, I'll remember it fondly. Thanks a lot, Jim!
