Back in May The Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour 4/24/185/1/18 Strictly by the Player's Handbook: No psionic classes or subclasses. The only psionic creatures are rare monsters with psionic spellcasting. The mystic: A new psionic class that requires DMs and players to learn a lot of new rules and options, roughly as extensive as a new spell list.

So about a year ago Mike Mearls came up with a Ranger homebrew during the Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour A list of his changes can be summed up here. To me, this looks like it fixes all the problems of the Ranger issues except for the ribbon abilities like Hide In Plain Sight or Vanish. Has anyone played with it and found it to be a good fix?
