Not in the oven, just cooking on the stove. I use a 12" glass lid (generic brand) for my skillet. It's a little easier to use than a cast iron lid at that size. Plus most things I cook in the over in my 12"er does not need to be covered. I do use the cast iron lid for my dutch oven and have been known to flip a pan on top of another in a pinch.
