As a Filipino, we love sinigang so much and this time I show you how to cook Sinigang na Salmon (Head & Backbone) Ingredients: 1 kg Salmon (Head & Backbone)1.

Cover and let it come to a boil. Add the radish and taro, then simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add the salmon, chili pepper, and eggplant, then continue to simmer for another 5 minutes. To make this Sinigang, pour water into a pot over medium-high heat to boiling. Gently add onions, tomatoes, ginger, legumes, and white radish, then cover the lid of the pot. Simmer it for about five minutes until the radish is half done. Then, add the okra, eggplant, salmon belly, and siling haba.

Season the salmon with the black pepper, and then add the salmon and the mustard greens (or bok choy, if using) to the pot and gently simmer until the salmon is just cooked through and the greens are wilted, 2 to 3 minutes. Add daikon and wine and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and water and bring to boil. Add lime juice, fish sauce, salt and miso paste, stir well and lower heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 25 minutes or until daikon is soft. Add salmon and cilantro, simmer for 3-4 minutes until salmon has cooked through.

Step 3: Add taro, string beans, & chilies (if using) and cook for about 5 minutes, or until slightly tender. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add salmon fillet. Cook for 2 minutes. Add Knorr Sinigang na Isda mix. Stir. Put the long green peppers into the pot along with the okra,and snake beans. Cover the pot. Cook in medium heat for 2 minutes. Add kangkong stalks. Season with patis and ground black pepper.

Put the salmon heads into the pot. Stir. Once the water starts to boil once more, add Knorr Sinigang na May Miso Recipe Mix. Stir. Add the long green peppers. Cover and then cook in medium heat for 12 minutes. Add okra, ground black pepper, and fish sauce. Stir. cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add the mustard leaves.

Add water and bring to a boil. Add kamias and banana chili. Add radish and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add long beans and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes. When vegetables are tender yet crisp, add salmon and continue to cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until fish changes color and flakes easily.

Season with salt and pepper and let it come to a boil. Once boiling, add the lady fingers (okra), tamarind mix and fish sauce and simmer for another minute. Salmon - use salmon belly, salmon head, fillet or even salmon trimmings. Other souring agents (pangpa-asim) that can be used: calamansi, kamias, batwan, fresh tamarind. Using fresh tamarind - wash unripe tamarind and place in a pot. Pour 1 cup water boil until soft and the skin begins to separate. Mash with a fork.

Add Knorr sinigang sa Sampaloc with Miso and daikon radish. Cover and continue cooking in low heat for 5 minutes. Add okra, long green pepper, and tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes. Season with ground black pepper and fish sauce. Add the mustard leaves. Cook for 2 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot.
