The snowdrop displays at Welford Park in Berkshire are simply stunning - a beautiful carpet of white through Beech Woods. There are a myriad of pathways allowing unobscured views of the woods along the snowdrop walk, offering plenty of locations for great photographs. The main walk around the woodland takes about thirty minutes at a good pace.

Feb 2022. Welford park is open for a few weeks around February for visitors to experience what has to be the best display of snowdrops we have ever seen. Welford is easy to find and located in lovely surroundings. The car parking is extensive albeit a bit muddy after rain and there are facilities for food and toilets.

The house was known as 'Farm Court' and was run on behalf of the monks by a bailiff. Tradition suggests that the Abbey herbalist took a special interest in the estate and it was he who planted the snowdrops for which the place is famous today.
